Award-winning Artists, Karen Baker, is a 20+ year veteran in strategic, brand and experiential marketing and professor of 12 years. She has consulted for companies such as BET, Viacom, and Pernod-Ricard (Forbes ranked, One Of The Top 20 Most Innovative Companies In The World). “Design thinking isn’t new. But design thinking is bringing about social change, and we need more design activist.” Karen’s area of interest and knowledge are Re-framing, Audience Insight & Research, Content Management and Experiential Marketing. A graduate of Howard University and has Masters degrees from George Washington University and Savannah College of Art and Design.

Anthony Leonard has been a Graphic Designer for 10+ years. Currently he is the Visual Information Team Lead/Art Director for a government agency in the Washington D.C. area. “I see design and innovation as something constant and is imperative to where products, services, and technology have a place in our future.” Anthony's area of interest and knowledge: Design Management, Design Thinking, Ethnographic Research, Graphic Design and multidisciplinary collaboration that foster action. He is a graduate of The Art Institute (B.F.A. in Graphic Design) and MA from SCAD. Anthony was a presenter at EPIC 2012 - The Resilience and Adaptation of Occupy DC.
